Found my way to your Blog tugohrh my travels tonight! Congratulations on being Cancer free and being a beautiful wife and mother of four beautiful children! Wow - what a scary journey you had. As I read thru some of your posts, I could feel how brave you truly were, even though some days it was hard! I am a 50ish Diva Mom :))with an awesome husband and 2 beautiful kids who are now 28 & 30 ~ and this month I am a 3 yr. cancer survivor! I was diagnosed with a very rare, subglottal tumor below and on my voice box. They treated it as an advanced cancer due to the uncertainty. Did 7 weeks of daily radiation along with Chemo once a week during that 7 weeks. Lots of scans, pet scans etc these last 3 years - I go every 3 months for check-ups - will graduate to every 4 months on January 1st - WooHoo - Life is Good! Strength, courage and hope every day ~ Keep the faith! Keeping the fear at Bay is always the hardest. But filling our lives with family, friends and all the things we love makes it all bearable! I wish you and your family all good things and will send the good Karma your way!

Tara, I saw shtimoeng about this yesterday when I went to see Wanted. I'm so glad that there is a benefit going on this huge for cancer. I've had family members with this horrible disease, but until it got me, I don't think it would have meant as much. I can't wait to see the results from this and hope that it really does help create some breakthroughs. My particular kind of breast cancer (triple negative) is one with the least therapies and the most unknowns. I'm not on FAcebook anymore, but this might be a good reason to get back on. Please let me know if there's any way I can help you with this or be involved.Drea

It is easy to be judgmental about others but next time why don't you put yourself into their shoe before you make a public comment about someone. what goes around comes around.

Nice aproachSome qsiuteons:1 Was any handicap sistem in mind when designing the boat? IRC? any estimated TCC?2 Without a backstay, how will you depower when racing without changing sails (winward leeward courses)? and, will you achieve an enough tight stay in heavy wind?3 I see the traditional interior layout as a nice correct solution, but going for the front cabin independent comes with a very small couchette (I think only for one person). Have you given a chance to a double after cabin, and forward head and storage? This solution is also better for droping the kite through the front hatch (wet sails).4 what is the suposed place for the mainsail trimer, in front or after the helmsman?Thank you for sharing all this info in such a way. Nice jobbest regardsGustavo
