Review by Benjamin S. Cosgriff for Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 (Win/Mac) Rating: This pgorram functions almost identically to Photoshop itself. It could even be a valid replacement however, there is one huge, giant, gaping, massive flaw to Elements, and that is that it has no Flow control for the tools. This in effect makes it impossible to paint with. Luckily for me, I sketch 99% of the time, I rarely have the time to sink into a painting, so it's fine for me, but come on Adobe, no Flow control? If you added that functionality in, us digital artists would have a very affordable medium to create with, similar to Sketchbook Pro, yet better in a lot of ways.I can see a workaround with enabling airbrush and lowering the opacity, but that's still just glorified opacity layering, which is archaic and useless when there's a Flow control. It may work, but it'll cause a huge spike in the time we have to spend creating something. I don't want to have to spend $635 on Photoshop when I won't be using 60% of the features it offers. Just add Flow to Elements, Adobe. Just do it.So, I took off one star for the idiotic lack of Flow control, but if you want something to sketch in, there's nothing better, at least for me. I've tried Painter and Sketchbook Pro, but neither really clicked with me. Photoshop and Elements however immediately clicked. But that's just me, I'd recommend downloading trials of a few pgorrams and finding the one you're comfortable with before dropping any money.

I've been surfing on-line grateer than three hours these days, but I never found any interesting article like yours. It is lovely value sufficient for me. Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content material as you probably did, the net might be a lot more helpful than ever before.

Thank you for the sensible crutiqie. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do some research about this. We got a grab a book from our area library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such great info being shared freely out there.
